The club has 10 Supreme Winner Tournament tables fitted with Simonis 861 Cloth as used by the IPA professional tour. and routinely changed when required. Aramith Pro Cup tournament balls are supplied to all customers which are freshly cleaned on our special ball cleaning machine after every use to provide the best conditions. Cues and chalk are supplied to all customers on request if do not have own equipment. We also have a stock of Exquisite cues in our glass cabinet which are available for purchase.
All tables feature an allocated tablet on stand which can be asked for on request to be turned on by the staff to use scoring apps if playing matches. Cuescore is used on the tablets for live scoring during tournaments and leagues which can be accessed on the “McGoldricks Tournaments” page on the cuescore website.
McGoldrick’s hosts Scottish Pool Association events including Scottish Singles titles and a major Individual Membership ranking event every year, the Saltire Series featuring the best 8 ball players in the world and IPA professional events. The venue is one of the main venues used in the Glasgow Pool League which is played on a Tuesday night.
During the school term, there is a Junior academy for Under 14s on every Monday night from 6-8pm with coaching provided by a multiple Scottish Singles champion Charlie Shaw.
Every Thursday night, there is a £5 entry flyer which starts at 7pm which is open to all members and non-members to play in.
